Position Description

Family Nurse Practitioner

Compensation: $120K-$170K pr/yr

Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week.

Our client a well established community health organization in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to add to there team.

Responsibilities:

Provide a positive experience for patients.
Possess considerable medical judgment and an advanced level of competency in nursing.
Providing primary care to patients
Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
Communicating test results to patients and their families
Recording patient medical histories

Job Requirements:

BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school
NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified/Eligible (must take boards within 1 year of hire)
1+ year experience preferred, national specialty certification preferred. Will consider new grads.
DEA prescriptive privileges, Medicare/Medicaid enrollment preferred
Russian Speaking required
