Dermatology Physician Assistant for Maternity Coverage in Frederick, Maryland

Join our dermatology practice located in Maryland, providing comprehensive and innovative dermatological care to patients of all ages. We are currently seeking a Dermatologist Physician Assistant for a maternity coverage assignment on the East Coast. 

Requirements & Credentials:

• Certified Dermatology Physician Assistant
• BLS and DEA certifications required 

Schedule:

• 3-6 month assignment 
• Enjoy a flexible work schedule (3+ days/week) with Fridays currently required
• Hours: Monday to Wednesday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm; Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm; Friday: 7:30 am - 2:30 pm
• Outpatient setting with no call requirements 

Practice Setting:

• The patient panel is primarily adults and elderly (65+), with some teens and young adults 
  • Support Staff includes shared Medical Assistants 
  • Charting: Next Tech EMR system, with training available if needed

Cases & Procedures:

• Types of Cases: General dermatology and cosmetic procedures
• Procedures: Skin biopsy, mole removal, chemical peel, shave removal, cryo surgeries, Botox, micro-needling, and more

Location:

• Hike, bike, or explore nature preserves, all within easy reach. Frederick has beautiful scenery for outdoor recreation 
• Experience a relatively lower cost of living compared to other major East Coast cities
